Reiki
Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life-force energy’. This is a powerful healing system based on unconditional love. Practitioners tap into the healing energies of higher spiritual planes and channel them into the patient.
In its simplest form, Reiki simply involves the practitioner placing his or her hands on the recipient with the intent of bringing healing - and willing Reiki energy to flow. The secret is to find a practitioner who knows what they are doing - in the right hands, Reiki has been shown to reduce stress and improve circulation.
