Reflexology
Reflexology is thousands of years old and based on the observation that tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. The application of pressure to certain reflex points on the feet affects the corresponding part of the body, improving blood flow to it, stimulating the body’s natural healing powers and promoting a general sense of wellbeing. Reflexology is not a cure-all, but its proponents claim that it aids relaxation and reduces anxiety.
